Hufendick Farm Market located in historic downtown Plainfield, Illinois. A craft butcher shop naturally raised Black Angus beef, Berkshire pork and Free Range chicken, along with chicken eggs and duck eggs. We also have many types of European traditional sausage, made from scratch soups, traditional butcher shop made products such as house made bologna, house made hams, fresh roasted and smoked turkey breast, and other traditional deli items.

What makes this shop special is that each customer is treated as if they are our first customer, no request is ever minimized, and that we stand out in the farm to table movement as a single farm sourced butcher shop.

Our concept is simple, provide the best naturally raised Black Angus beef, Berkshire pork and Free Range chicken, custom cut  pieces by hand and make sure that each customer knows why the product they are buying that day is special.

Hufendick Farm Market provides fresh and frozen meat sourced directly from Hufendick Farm south of Norway, Illinois.  Hufendick farm raises our animals the old fashioned way.  No confinements, No antibiotics, No steroids.  Our animals are free range with room to roam.

At Hufendick Market we are committed to not only having the highest quality animal proteins raised humanely in a natural environment, with no added hormones and no use of antibiotics, but in an environment where animals have access to the outdoors, and are grass fed with some grain in their diet to ensure excellent marbling.
